Mastering SEO - The REAL Truth About Duplicate Content
January 6, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Want to get your website to the very top of the search engines? Quality search engine optimization is the key. Recently, there’s been a lot of talk on the issue of duplicate content. It’s been said that having duplicate content on your web page can affect it’s rankings on the search engine. Is that true? Read this article to find out more.
Firstly, what is duplicate content? Well let’s say you want to create a blog on snakes, as an example. This blog will be all about the different kinds of species of snakes. To get content for your blog, you go to an article directory and republish an article you find on snakes. You are allowed to do this since the article directory gives you permission to republish articles. What happens is that now there are at least two web pages that have the same article on it. This is called “duplicate content” and is often believed to affect search engine rankings since the article is not “original”.
The truth is this, the issue of similar content affecting search engine positions has been overrated. Many sites still rank on the top for highly-competitive keywords although they have lots of duplicate content.
The reason why many sites with similar content appear to get banned is because these websites may also contain other “black hat” tricks in an attempt to fool the search engines. The duplicate content thing is not the main problem. If you use content which is similar but stick to search engine rules and don’t use black hat tricks, your site will be hard-pressed to be penalized by the search engines.

How To Go Inside The Minds Of Top Internet Entrepreneurs
January 6, 2008 | Leave a Comment
It’s often said that to be successful, just follow in the “footsteps” of others and see what they have done. I personally attribute a lot of my Internet success to tapping into the minds of top Internet entrepreneurs, seeing what they do, and finding out what they think.
You don’t need to arrange a personal one-on-one consultation with a wildly successful Internet entrepreneur to find out what he thinks. One of the places you can interact with top Internet marketers is on forums like the Warrior forum. Top entrepreneurs like Mike Filsaime, Yanik Silver and Willie Crawford often make quality posts there. Just use the search button, and you can easily every post they have ever made on the forum. If you really want to tap into their minds, read all their posts and try to pick out those golden tips.
Another way to find out the methods of top Internet marketers is to subscribe to their newsletters. See how they write their newsletters, how often they write a new issue, how they market their offers, and even how they sign off their newsletter. These entrepreneurs have proven they are successful by using these methods, so it’s a good idea to see what they are doing.
If you don’t want to leave your success to pure chance, it’s always good to study what the successful entrepreneurs have done. It builds a solid foundation for your business education, simply by hanging around in forums and subscribing to newsletters. Maybe one day you too can be one of those that are studied and emulated.

How To Create A Drop Dead Offer That Is Guaranteed To Sell Like Hotcakes
January 6, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Offer creation is one of the few key activities for Internet business. To sell a lot of products online, you need to have strong offers. Without a strong offer, it’s going to take a lot for a customer to part with his money. The key thing to keep in mind is that people are bombarded with sometimes a few hundred advertisements each and every day, so your offer must really be so good that only an insane guy will not take it.
Here are some ‘offer boosters’ to make your offer irresistible:
1. 100% Money-Back Guarantee
Nowadays, doing without a money-back guarantee is marketing suicide, especially for tickets which command higher prices. While you might get some refunders whose intention was to rip you off in the first place, most people will feel secure with your guarantee and go on to purchase your product genuinely. It’s proven that having a guarantee increases profits.
2. Bonuses
Add in a few bonuses to your product to increase its perceived value. One trick that Internet entrepreneurs use is to pile on the bonuses so that the value of the bonuses is actually higher than the main offer. This creates an offer so good that it’s almost seen as a bargain.
3. Limited Offers
Make your offer time-sensitive or have only limited quantities available. By adding in this urgency factor, you almost practically “force” your target customers to take action now, instead of delaying. Remember, people are hit with many advertisements everyday, so your offer must make them take action immediately or they will put it off for later and not buy.

How To Totally Automate Your Internet Business While You Sit Back, Relax, And Collect The Cash
January 6, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Having an Internet business that runs on autopilot is great because it allows you to do what you want and still make lots of money! However, most people still remain tied to their business. On Ebay, for example, it’s very hard to run an automated business. You have to fulfil orders and ship them out on a daily basis if you sell lots of items.
On the other hand, let’s say you create an empire of content sites, loaded with Google Adsense ads and affiliate programs. You can make lots of money automatically without lifting a finger because the sites will always be there, and payments are done automatically. Checks are also sent automatically!
If you sell digital books (ebooks) on the Internet, you can also run a fully automated business. The customer makes his payment, and you can set a redirect that instantly directs your customer to the download page, where he can download your product. All this is done automatically so you don’t even have to have any input, other than for customer queries.
You can automate customer queries if you want by outsourcing it. Companies in countries in India provide cheap outsourcing services, so if you don’t want to be answering 50 customer queries every day, this is a good way to go.
Look for ways to automate your Internet business so you can spend more time creating other businesses or doing the things you want! The Internet is a powerful tool that runs 24 hours a day, so an automated business is not beyond you.

Do you have a content website or already have a content website up on the web? Want to make more money out of it? This article will discuss 3 proven ways to explode your profits on your website.
Time-Tested Tactic #1: Selling Advertising For Huge Profits
One of the most popular ways to generate an income with your content website is to sell advertising space to other businesses. You can put up an ad that says “Click Here To Buy This Ad Space” and have it link to your Paypal account. Depending on the traffic your website receives, you can command lower or higher advertising fees. One great way to sell ads is through Adbrite. This site makes selling ads easy on your website.
Time-Tested Tactic #2 - Placing Google Adsense Ads
This is similar to the first tactic, but the only difference is that you can’t choose the ads you want to have on your website (although Google will “contextually” target ads for your website’s theme) BUT you do get paid for every click your ad receives! This can range from a few cents to a few dollars depending on the content on your website. If your website has keywords like medical terms or financial related terms, then they will often pay well.
Time-Tested Tactic #3 - Affiliate Programs
Affiliate programs are basically revenue sharing arrangements - you promote a product which you don’t own for commission-based sales. This is a great way to get started selling a product on the Internet since you don’t have to create the product itself or ship it. All you have to do is promote your affiliate link and when someone buys from it, you get paid a commission.

How To Net Mass Affiliate Checks By Applying This Super Affiliate Technique
January 6, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Still banging your head on the wall trying to get that first affiliate sale? Many of the successful affiliates started out very much in the same vein. Don’t panic if you have tried every technique and strategy in that ebook you bought and still haven’t made that first sale.
So how do you net consistent affiliate paychecks that keep flowing in? The trick is to create a comprehensive marketing plan that works, and market your affiliate programs in as many avenues as possible.
One of the best avenues to advertise affiliate programs discreetly is through video marketing. Let me explain further.
For video marketing, what you want to do is to create a short 30-90 second clip that shows one tip or technique to your target market. For example, if you are selling in the golf niche, you might want to create a short video of a golfing technique. And then you say at the end of your video “If you want to know more little-known golf techniques, come visit my website at _____”. You’ll get a ton of targeted visitors to your affiliate link this way. Because they have seen one technique, and they’ll want to know more. You’ve left them hanging.
There are a few popular sites to distribute your videos. The most popular one is YouTube. There is another called Metacafe. Go to YouTube and submit your video, if your video is good, it will become viral because it will be posted at blogs, forums and websites and you will receive thousands of visitors.

The Secrets To Weeding Out The Keyword Losers In Your Adwords Campaign!
January 6, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Want to make your next Adwords campaign fantastically profitable? Eliminate the losers! Find the keywords which are not converting, and delete them from your list. But just how do you identify these keyword losers which you need to weed out? Read on to find out more.
Mastering Adwords is a science and an art. There is a science to writing powerful ad copy that gets people’s attention and pushes their “hot buttons”, but there is also an art to picking out really targeted keywords that get the sales.
There are two keys to huge success with Adwords: your ad copy, and the keywords you choose for your campaign. Firstly, how do you find targeted keywords? Two of the top tools for researching keywords is by using the free Wordtracker keyword research tool and Google Adwords keyword tool (which is located inside your Adwords account).
Once you’ve picked your keywords, you’ll let the campaign run for a few days, but the important thing that you must do is to track your results. To do this, you can use Google Analytics or an external tracking program like Track That Ad. Doing this will enable you to see which keywords are bringing in the majority of the sales for you, and which keywords are simply not profitable. After about a week or so, you’ll have a clearer picture on which keywords you should eliminate. Get rid of these keywords, and add in new keywords if possible. Then test your results again. By constantly doing this, you’ll always achieve a higher and higher return on investment on your campaign.

5 Golden Keys To Fast Profits With Google AdWords
January 1, 2008 | Leave a Comment
When it comes to creating fast cash on the Internet, Google AdWords is one of the quickest available methods. You only need 5 dollars to get started and a few lines of text which comprise your ad. These ads work on the concept of paying only for clicks your ad receives. You don’t pay for impressions.
#1: Start With Small Bids
Don’t start by bidding $1 or more on keywords! This might cause you to lose money really quickly. Start small by bidding small amounts.
#2: Keep Your Daily Budget Low Initially
As keeping in the principle stated above, you’d want to start small. Google Adwords allows you to set a daily budget. Try to start with no more than $10 per day.
#3: Create A Large List Of Targeted Keywords
To succeed with Adwords, you need a huge list of keywords which are aimed at a targeted audience. You don’t want to use keywords which bring in untargeted traffic. For example, if your business sells Photoshop tutorials, you’d do better to bid on “Photoshop tutorial” than “graphic design tutorial”. More targeted keywords are usually cheaper too, since they are not so obvious to many marketers.
#4: Track Your Keywords
Track the results of your ad campaigns. Adwords allows you to track your keywords using their in-built tracking tracking system. See which keywords are bringing in the most profits for you.
#5: Determine Your ROI
You must calculate your return on investment for every ad campaign you are running. For example, if you made $87 on $20 worth of clicks, that means an ROI of 435%.

How To Create An Unbelievable Sales Stampede On Your Website
December 30, 2007 | Leave a Comment
What exactly is a “sales stampede”? It’s simply a lot of sales coming in everyday! And an unbelievable sales stampede can be a reality by following some proven principles.
Firstly, to create a lot of sales, you need plenty of traffic streaming in to your website. It’s similar to an offline store’s visitor rate. The more traffic and the more eyeballs you have on your website, the more money you will make. So one of your main business priorities is always to get more traffic to your site! Some proven ways to get traffic include pay per click advertising, viral marketing and ezine advertising.
Next, your site needs to have a good conversion rate. Meaning it needs to convert a certain percentage of visitors to your website into customers. A good percentage is around 2-5%. If 100 visitors come to your site, at least 2 people should buy.
Some ways to increase your conversion rate include improving your website copy (the words on your web pages), your graphics and your branding (the name of your products, the colors etc). You should also get targeted visitors to your website to increase your sales. Untargeted visitors means your conversion rate will invariably be lower.
For example, if you are selling to baby boomers, it doesn’t make sense to try to get traffic from social networking sites, since most baby boomers don’t use these sites. Now you know the two keys for creating massive profits on the Internet: traffic and conversion. Follow these two basic principles, and you can’t fail! Here’s to your sales stampede…
