Video Marketing Gives You a Flow of Endless Leads
February 3, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Video marketing is taking the Internet Marketing industry by storm. It is the new and powerful method of advertising that draws endless leads and sales.
Video marketing is one of many Web 2.0 Marketing Techniques to implement to brand yourself. Doing this enables viewers to see who you are, what you do, what you’re about, feel your emotions and be on the same page.
There is a big difference when reading a letter to listening to someone over the phone to being able to see them in front of you, giving you eye contact through video. You are most likely to have a better understanding of that individual through video rather than listening to them over the phone or reading a letter.
Below are some tips that you can implement to create successful videos.
1. You need to speak in a professional matter, use professional terminology. Good posture and terminology that truly express what you want to share with your viewers.
I have seen videos where people are not into it; they are simply in the video because they have to be not because they want to be. This is the main way of failing in this industry.
2. Your video must have a sense of urgency, passion and the correct verbiage for you to successfully drive your prospect back to your website.
3. Also it is crucial to set your video up professionally, an idea to have a simple back drop, be in a quite location and nice lighting.
Once you have created your video it would be a good idea to obtain a video submitter so you can submit your video to all the video networks out there so you automatically drive endless amounts of leads back to your website.

Adsense Tips – Top 5 Tips To Increase Click Through Rates
January 15, 2008 | Leave a Comment
The Google adsense program is now one of the most popular ways to make money online for webmasters. If you own a blog or a site then by simply adding adsense you have the opportunity to make good income depending on the levels of traffic your site receives.
However just because your site receives traffic it does not necessarily mean that it will transfer into adsense clicks as website visitors are now familiar with adsense and can be very good at avoiding it. Here are some of the best ways to get your site visitors to notice your ads which means that the likelihood of ad clicks increases significantly.
Tip 1: Use More Ads
If your site is suffering from very low click through rates such as under one percent then adding more ads may help. The adsense program allows 3 ad units and 2 link units. If your page has enough content then seriously consider integrating all these units into your site.
Tip 2: Place Ads Above The Fold
The location of the ads is very important in order to get the most clicks possible. Make sure that you place some ads above the fold on your website. The above the fold area is the part of your site that is first seen when the page loads without the visitor having to scroll down.
Tip 3: Place Ads Toward The Center Of The Page
The center of the page receives the most attention by web visitors so whenever possible center your ads or get them as close as possible towards the center of the page.
Tip 4: Use The Right Colors For Your Ads
Using the right colors in your adsense ads can make a big difference in helping to blend your ads in with the rest of your site. Make sure the link color in your ads match the main link color on your site. It is also preferable to use a grey color for the ad url, this will help to make the ad headline stand out more which should help to increase click through rates since most headlines are written to attract clicks.
Tip 5: Place Ads Directly In Your Articles
You need to place ads directly in your content in order to get them noticed more. If you have an article page then add an adsense unit directly below the title of that article. Also you can use HTML tables to place adsense units in your article paragraphs and have the text in your articles wrap around the ads.
Make sure that you are not squeezing your content too much so be sure to have enough space for large adsense units and also enough text so that your articles still look good and readable. It is best to use the 336×280 ad unit as much as possible as it has been shown to be a good performer and also make sure to always remove borders from all ads as this will make the ads blend in better with the rest of your site.
Also remember that advertising works by creating an interruption in the user experience. Consider television and how you are shown ads without notice right in the middle of your favorite shows. This is done to force you to notice the ads so a similar approach needs to be used with adsense ads to draw more clicks. Put your ads in positions that gently interrupt your visitors without making them want to leave your site. Apply some of these tips to help you get higher adsense click through rates and make more money from your site.

January 15, 2008 | Leave a Comment
To operate a successful Internet business several things must happen. Fortunately everyone has access to some of the most fantastic tools to help them build their business.
In this article we want to talk about three Internet essential business resources that are a must for your success.
1. First of all having a blog is a must for your business today. Running a business online today without your own blog is like running the 100 yard dash with one leg. Chances are your competitor is using a blog to build their business, and so should you.
One exception to this would be if most of the advertising you do is paid advertising. However, if your goal is to create long-term success for your business having a blog is an excellent way to attract readers and make sales.
Mastering techniques such as Web 2.0 and social networking are essential business resources you just cannot do without. Blogs are great because they are very easy to maintain and do not require a lot of technical skill.
2. Next you need an auto responder that you use to capture contact information for future follow-up. You can put a sign up form on your blog and even a website, where visitors can register to receive valuable free information that you give them.
What you require from them is their email address and name. This is a valuable resource that can make you a lot of money for years to come as you continue to build a large opt in list of people who allow you to e-mail them.
3. Lastly you need a website or a lead capture page. Some people refer to this as a splash page or a landing page. You certainly can add content to your business using your blog, but this does not make having a website obsolete.
If you determine you do not want to develop a full-fledged website you should still have a capture page that you can promote for people opt in for future follow-up. One good thing about this technique is you can change what you promote on your splash page without having to change the website URL.
Certainly we can talk about various forms of marketing and traffic generation as being essential business resources. These are not really business resources and are more ideas or concepts.
For this reason we fell three essential business resources you must have are a blog, an auto responder, and a website or landing page.

Internet Marketing Strategy - What Can You Do For Me To Make You Money Today
January 14, 2008 | Leave a Comment
One aspect of making money online that often gets overlooked is providing a service for the millions of website and blog owners. Let’s look at this closer.
Most website and blog owners do not have the knowledge, time, or money to do everything it takes to run an online business these days. This can be good news for you.
You can make money by providing a service that solves a problem for all of these webmasters. If you are smart, and I know you are :-), you will get a pen and piece and paper and start writing after you get done reading this.
What do you know how to do that you could do for someone. I start an article writing company a couple of years ago for my son. We ended up developing it into a full time income.
I recently started a service to write and submit articles because we had so many requests to market the articles we were writing for our customers.
I helped a friend of mine start a business building blogs for people because blogging is so important today and many people do not know how to set up their own.
We started writing blog articles as well because of the number of blogs there are online today. We just write them a little shorter than our regular articles so people can paste them in their blogs.
I have seen people make money online providing these type of service as well…
- website customization
- search engine optimization
- managing pay per click campaigns
- creating software
- publishing newsletters for people
- posting comments in blogs
- website building
- providing customer service via phone and email
- posting in forums
- ghostwriting
- set up autoresponder email campaigns
- create videos for blog owners
- customize private label right products
- do telemarketing for mlm business owners
- create graphics and sell them
This is just a few ideas off of the top of my head. You may think of others.
I guarantee you that if there is a need for a service on the internet there are people willing to pay you to do it for them.
The quickest way to make your service known online is to set up a sales page describing your service.
Then add a PayPal button for ordering.
Finally join several internet marketing forums and set up a signature file letting people know what you off. Include a link back to your sales page.
As your business grows start a testimonial page and ask for referrals from you satisfied customers.
You will probably never get rich providing a service, but you can make a very good living over time, and you get to stay at home which beats going to work everyday for someone else.

Web 2.0 Noise and Hype: Heres Proof!
January 14, 2008 | Leave a Comment
There is a lot of buzz online around web 2.0 especially around how webmasters can get fast results on search engines. Rather than contribute to the buzz, lets look into it closer and explain.
Web 2.0 is a really big topic, and in short, it means the move from static webpages- just text and images to interactivity, visitor contribution and the rise of video. These are all great ideas as it creates personal ownership, in the form of being able to voice and opinion in a subject.
Now what does this mean to * Your * business, after all that’s what really counts
Lets look at one area - Blogging
A blog is simple to use way of putting your own content up on line. It requires no knowledge to write articles and post them up on a site (if you are advanced, and have a blog already the real information is coming
Blogs or weblogs have been put forward as the “quick free fix” for getting top rankings. The most professional blogging system is one called wordpress. Its free and has a load of support.
Now bloggers themselves are a weird bunch, and they are very 2.0 aimed and, most of the time not very business focused, more out just to make a few bucks online. However, creating a blog to use to drive traffic to your own site, and increase search engine traffic is something to definitely include in your plans.
Here is a few things to keep in mind:
1. Content - Blogs are a content tool, they are used to provide information to the user give valuable information (sometimes they cross over into opinion)
2. Time- they take time and consistent effort to contribute to get started and maintain
3. Integration -They need to integrate with your marketing plan which means, not just search engine ranking, but lead generation (collecting email addressees and first names) and can be a good form of pre - selling your future customers.
4. Outside Influence- Blogs will still need outside influence in the form of links to get traffic.
The wordpress free program is great however most bloggers do not set the site up to be 100% search engine friendly.
I will use my partners site which has had very little work done on it but is getting results. We started with the keyword research and settled on a core keyword of “Home Organizing” and secondary keywords of “home organizing ideas” and “home organizing tips”
We bought the domain: CompleteHomeOrganizing.com - The domain name achieves 3 goals:
1. Keyword Friendly - Has main keywords in the domain
2. Professional - it provides a professional appearance
3. Focused- it hasn’t tried to be everything to everybody- specific market….
We then set to creating a plan of providing content, which went something like this:
1. Tuesday- create a 400-600 word article on a subject around organizing (bathroom organizing etc) around 30 minutes time required - first draft version only
2. Wed - Proof read article (30 minutes)
3. Thursday- Post article to site (10 minutes)
4. Friday- Create 3 new versions of article for distribution (30 minutes)
5. Friday- Promote article
The time commitment is small and can be applied consistently. The reason for the different versions of the articles, is to avoid the duplicate content problem online.
It is said that the same article, duplicated on several sites, will not count towards your site.
This has never been proven, however another reason, which is just as important. Having a different version of an article allows for a different density of the keyword to be available. Different versions allow you to also to approach the subject from slightly different angles.
Now because the site collects leads, the first part of the promotion is to let the subscribers, who have agreed to you sending them more information that a new article is posted.
You can send just a short message and title of the article, or part of the article, to encourage visitors. Remember education, information….not a pure sales pitch.
We then promote the article out to several article directories. We did this over a period of 3 months, but started to get results after 60 days. This is the * ONLY * promotion we have done so far (more is planned). And it has resulted in several top 20 rankings.
So around the rave of 2.0 there are ways to leverage it into your online business without becoming a total web geek. The principles haven’t changed, just the technology involved.

Work At Home Typing Jobs - A Growing Trend
January 13, 2008 | Leave a Comment
If you want to work at home and have good typing skills, working online might be right for you. A growing number of companies are hiring people to work at home typing online. Employers are waking up to the idea that they don’t need to rent office space to keep their employees corralled from 9-5, and they like the idea that they can save all sorts of overheads by employing people to work at home. This arrangement benefits the bosses by saving them money and it benefits the staff by enabling them to work where they want to be: at home.
What sort of home typing jobs are available?
There is no shortage of variety for work at home typists. Work at home typing online jobs include all the clerical/secretarial roles you would expect to find in any office. There are also home typing jobs which are purely internet-based and consist of things such as typing classified advertisements into online forms for companies or typing short articles onto blogs. There is also specialised work at home typing online in fields such as medical billing and medical transcription.
Some work at home typing online jobs are, quite frankly, repetitive and boring. It is best, therefore, to consider exactly what sort of typing work you would enjoy doing day in and day out before you start actively seeking a work at home typing position. If you want easy part time work you can do at home, typing classified advertisements into online forms is an easy way to make money. You can choose your own hours and just work for a couple of hours each day. If you want something more creative, a blog posting job might be more suitable for you.
Do I need experience to get a work at home typing job?
Many work at home typing online jobs require no previous related experience and can be done by anyone with reasonable typing skills. These jobs include the classified ad typing and blog posting positions. The companies hiring people to do this sort of typing work online will provide full training and show you exactly where and how to post the ads and deal with enquiries or feedback.
The main drawback with this type of work is that there is a huge amount of competition (as there is for any work at home job). So, if you have previous experience in medical transcription or customer services, this will give you an advantage if you choose to work in one of those fields.
What about work at home typing online scams?
There are scams relating to work at home and typing online jobs have their share. Some scams are obvious and you can almost “smell” them when you see their advertisements, but others are more difficult to detect. One thing to remember is that you should ask yourself “why would anyone pay me to do that?”. If you can’t think of a single reasonable answer, you could be looking at a scam that will cost you money or, worse still, something that will involve you in illegal activity. If in doubt, let the dubious opportunity pass and carry on looking.
There are plenty of legitimate work at home typing online opportunities around for people of all levels of skill and experience, just remember to be careful to avoid scams and to pick the kind of work you will enjoy doing.

Make Extra Money With Revenue Sharing Sites
January 12, 2008 | Leave a Comment
In my conversations with subscribers, it appears that many people in the Internet marketing field are not making money. They’d be happy to make an extra $50 a month. If you can write a 300 to 500 word article, I can show you how you can make that extra money.
Are you familiar with Revenue Sharing Sites? These are article submission sites that give you some of the money that they earn. That’s right, you submit articles to them just as you do with standard directories and they will split some of the money that they make from your article.
There is no catch. But you have to have an Adsense account to participate. If you not currently enrolled with Adsense, you can register for the program at Google. It is easy to do. And, as an added benefit, after Google approves you for Adsense, you can place their ads on your blog or website to earn even more money.
The money that you earn from the revenue sharing sites is credited directly to your Adsense account. So if you submit articles to 15 different revenue sharing sites, you can check on your total earnings by accessing just one website. You don’t have to monitor earning from all 15 sites individually. This is a significant time saver.
I set up channels in Adsense to monitor my revenue sharing site earnings. By clicking on the channel link, I can see which revenue sharing sites are producing the most money every day. It’s a very easy system to use.
This system will not make you rich. But, if you are looking to make some extra money each month, it is an ideal situation. Consider using some of the revenue sharing sites and start making some money. It is an absolute must if you already write and submit articles on a regular basis.

An Overview on Starting a Successful Online Business
January 7, 2008 | Leave a Comment
How to start an online business
Starting an online business offers its challenges. While start-up costs are low, just a tiny fraction of that of most any traditional business — making it effective is certainly not simple. Keep in mind that for any idea you may have in selling on the internet, there are likely others already offering the same thing online.
The most basic things one needs to begin online marketing are:
a) a website
b) a domain name,
c) a web host
d) products or services to sell.
It is important to offer whatever follow-up support and information services that customers may need after investing in your products or services.
Internet businesss start-up costs are low, but, like all businesses, you need to attract the target market for what your are selling. This means getting your website noticed the target customers.
One challenging aspect of starting an internet business is making people awarethat you are there, offering that products or services that they need. The main rule of thumb is that your website should be on the top ten pages in popular search engine search results. If your website goes shows up after page 10 of the search results, you will probably need to work on your website’s advertising to make it show up on the top 10 pages.
So, to start an online business, you will need a website (or, at the very least, a blog) and need to bring targeted traffic to your website (or blog). Targeted traffic is the individuals or businesses that would most likely be interested in purchasing your product or investing in your service. Not just people browsing, but potential buyers.
There are a number of ways to spread awareness of your website:
Keywords: Keywords are the words associated to any given subject. These are the words people seeking information, products, or services type into their search engine searches. The text and articles on your website should, in natural ways include what your website business is offering. This may seem obvious, but it is important in respect to search engines. This will help you better define what your are offering, help your potential customers, and help search engines. and you can also try publishing keyword rich articles in your website.
A keyword rich article is one with content that is related to whatever products or services you are selling. For example, if you are selling pet accessories, it would make most sense to have articles that feature the different types of pet accessories that you happen to be selling. In doing so, anybody seeking such accessories on a search engine will be able to find your site. Search engines locate websites that contain keywords specified in the search queries.
Artificially stuffing keyword rich gibberish on your website is not a good idea; this will just annoy visitors to your website and could well result in the site getting de-indexed from search engines. However, including helpful and informative keyword-rich articles on your site should serve your business well.
Submitting Articles to Article Directories
Submitting articles rich with relevant keywords to article directories — websites that publish articles — offers information to people who may require what you have to offer. In turn, this helps you
promote your business website.
Just Making a Website is Not Enough
A lot of people make the mistake of just creating a website, then expecting visitors to begin pouring in. Attracting people most likely to buy your products or services is largely dependent on how much targeted traffic your website is bringing in.
If Something Sounds too Good to be True…
Do not fall into the trap of believing the hype that as soon as ou you start an online business, you will become wealthy in a matter of days. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication for your online business to become successful.
In taking proper care of the basics on starting an online business, offering quality information, and by working hard to make your website helpful to your target markets, you will eventually attract people to your website who will want the products or services you are selling, and, indeed, make purchases from your website.

Mastering SEO - The REAL Truth About Duplicate Content
January 6, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Want to get your website to the very top of the search engines? Quality search engine optimization is the key. Recently, there’s been a lot of talk on the issue of duplicate content. It’s been said that having duplicate content on your web page can affect it’s rankings on the search engine. Is that true? Read this article to find out more.
Firstly, what is duplicate content? Well let’s say you want to create a blog on snakes, as an example. This blog will be all about the different kinds of species of snakes. To get content for your blog, you go to an article directory and republish an article you find on snakes. You are allowed to do this since the article directory gives you permission to republish articles. What happens is that now there are at least two web pages that have the same article on it. This is called “duplicate content” and is often believed to affect search engine rankings since the article is not “original”.
The truth is this, the issue of similar content affecting search engine positions has been overrated. Many sites still rank on the top for highly-competitive keywords although they have lots of duplicate content.
The reason why many sites with similar content appear to get banned is because these websites may also contain other “black hat” tricks in an attempt to fool the search engines. The duplicate content thing is not the main problem. If you use content which is similar but stick to search engine rules and don’t use black hat tricks, your site will be hard-pressed to be penalized by the search engines.
